HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

Please read this policy carefully before making a payment, as it determines your rights regarding your purchases, including essential restrictions and exclusions.
HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. strives to ensure a clear understanding of the financial relationships between students and tutors regarding the services we provide. This policy applies to all services and features available through the website and any mobile application related to HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. Terms in uppercase used and not defined here will have the respective meanings attributed to them in HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V.'s terms of service.
- TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN TUTOR AND STUDENT
HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. facilitates contracts between users (students and tutors) by providing a website to request, deliver, and pay for tutoring services. HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. is only a website and will in no case be a party to any contract between tutors and students, nor will it be responsible for any other services or materials provided by a tutor. HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. will not be responsible for monitoring any transaction between students and tutors.
The processing fee is non-refundable.
We reserve the right to change the processing fee at any time and will provide students with notice of any fee changes before they take effect.
- REFUNDS
You must submit your refund request to the email atencion@hoffilearning.com.
If there are extenuating circumstances that prevented you from attending the lesson/group class or canceling it with short notice, these refunds may be made at the tutor's discretion, but the tutor is not obligated to do so.
In case you choose the refund option, the speed and availability of refunded funds in your bank account will depend solely on the terms and policies of your bank. The exact amount of the refund will depend on the USD exchange rate to the billing currency of your payment method in effect on the date the refund is initiated.
You will only receive a refund per request.
No refund will be issued if the user has lost and/or forgotten their login credentials (username and passwords), resulting in data loss, temporary loss of access to the user's account, or any other inconvenience to the user.
No refund will be issued in case the user has lost connection due to lack of internet access, factory reset, or updates.
If you have not submitted a refund request within the specified period, you can still request that we return the credits to your HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. account balance. These credits can then be used to schedule lessons/group classes with any other tutor.
- REFUND PROCEDURE
To request a refund, please email atencion@hoffilearning.com with the following information:
- Date and time of the lesson
- Reason for the refund request
- Name of your tutor
- The refund decision will be made within 30 business days.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any refund at any time is at our sole discretion.
- LESSON PACKAGES
If the trial lesson did not take place, you may request (a) a free trial lesson with another tutor of your choice on the HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. website; or (b) a refund of the payment according to the refund procedure described here.
In case your scheduled trial lesson did not take place but was accidentally confirmed, you may request (a) the transfer of credits to another Tutor; or (b) a refund of the payment according to the refund procedure described here.
The refund option is available only within 90 days from the date you made the payment.
- CHARGEBACKS
In the event of a chargeback by banks or third-party payment processors regarding your purchase of any lesson, you agree that we may suspend access to all and any accounts you have with us.
Charges and expenses incurred as a result of chargebacks or other payment disputes initiated by you, your bank, or a third-party payment processor, will be covered by you.
- EXPIRED ACCOUNT
If you have not logged into your HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. account for more than 180 days, your account will be suspended, and your remaining balance will expire.
- ACCOUNT DELETION
If you decide to delete your HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. account, your remaining balance will expire.
In the event that HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. suspends or closes your account due to a breach of any of our policies, you understand and agree that you will not receive any refund or compensation for any unused balance or scheduled lessons/classes.
- DATA PROVIDED BY YOU
You agree and understand that the billing information you provide to make payments for lessons/group classes through the HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. Platform is processed solely by third-party payment processors. HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. does not collect, store, or otherwise process your billing information in any other way.
You agree that HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. will not be liable for any failure by third parties to properly protect such information. Payment processing will be subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of third-party payment processors, in addition to this policy.
You acknowledge that we may change third-party payment processors and require them to transfer your information to other service providers who encrypt your information using secure socket layer (SSL) technology or other comparable security technology.
- PAYMENTS
The payment methods available on the HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. website are as follows:
- Visa
- MasterCard
- American Express
All payments for using the HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. website and tutoring services must be made through the HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. website.
Students are responsible for all transaction fees related to payments for using the HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. website and tutoring services.
- PAYMENTS TO TUTORS
Tutors receive payments for each confirmed lesson/group class. To receive payment, tutors must use one of the third-party payment processors available on the HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. website for secure transactions.
Please note that third-party payment processors charge a fee for each transaction. Such transaction fees will be deducted from the corresponding payment amount and will be displayed within the functionality of the HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. website.
- OTHER
HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. is not a bank or any kind of financial institution and does not provide any financial services or advice. Any payment made through the HOFFI LEARNING S.A. DE C.V. website is made solely for the purpose of accessing, facilitating, and delivering tutoring services between Students and Tutors. Such payments cannot be made or used for any fraudulent, criminal, or illegal activity as defined by law.
